Project: Spiral Cooling Tower with UVC Light
For a leading bakery, we developed a bespoke UVC disinfection unit designed to maintain a hygienic environment by keeping the spiral conveyor belt free from bacteria and mold. This spiral cooling tower rapidly lowers the temperature of bakery products to the desired level, ensuring optimal freshness and quality while operating continuously 24/7
Traditional cleaning methods, such as washing with water and brushes, are not always sufficient to eliminate microbial contamination. To enhance hygiene standards, we integrated an additional disinfection step using UVC light technology. The system incorporates twenty-two high-intensity UVC lamps, waterproof and rated to IP68 standards, which provide continuous and reliable disinfection of the conveyor belt surface.
This innovative solution significantly reduces the risk of mold growth on the conveyor, which in turn extends the shelf life of the bread.
