Who collects or processes your personal data?
Bioclimatic B.V. ("Bioclimatic" or "we"), registered at Luzernestraat 6 in Nieuw-Vennep (NH - The Netherlands), are responsible for all personal data collected via the website www.bioclimatic.nl, through e-mail traffic, by purchasing our products, by using our tools and services, when requesting information, samples, or documentation or when subscribing to our newsletters.

Personal data that we process
We process your personal data because you make use of our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself.
Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

- First name, surname, and gender
- Address details

- Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by indicating your position or your product interest. You can indicate this via the website, in written correspondence, or by telephone.

For what purpose and on what grounds do we process personal data?
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
Sending a product sample or quote.
Sending our newsletter.
To be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary in order to provide our services.
Inform you about changes to our services and products.
To deliver goods and services to you.
Purchase of products from our suppliers.
How long we store personal data
We do not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data was collected. We maintain the following retention periods for personal data:
- Newsletters: When you unsubscribe from a newsletter, your data related to this newsletter will be deleted within two weeks after an opt-out.
- In the event of a request for information, a quote, or a brochure, your data will not be stored for longer than seven years.
- If a relationship is formed, for example due to the purchase of a product or product sample, the data will be stored for the duration of the relationship plus a maximum of seven years after termination of the relationship.
Sharing personal data with third parties
We will share your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement and in order to comply with any legal obligations. We enter into a Processing Agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We are still responsible for these processing operations.
Third parties and purpose of data sharing:
Sharing with commissioned marketing and advertising agency(s) with the aim of: providing mailings, improving the website(s) (e.g. to check and improve forms on the website). These processing party/parties will also have access to the Google Analytics data for our website in order to improve the user experience and conversion registration on the website.
Inclusion of data in our (online) CRM package for the purpose of sending you the desired materials such as product samples or quotes, sending you our newsletter, calling or e-mailing you if this is necessary to provide our services, informing you of changes to our services and products, or to deliver goods and services to you.
Cookies, or similar technology, that we use
Only technical and functional cookies are used on our website, and analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone the first time you visit a website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and for your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and remember things like your preferred settings. They also enable us to further optimise our website. You can unsubscribe from cookies by amending the settings on your internet browser in such a way that it no longer stores cookies. You can also delete all information previously stored via your browser's settings.
Google Analytics
The Analytics cookies we use are from Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. For proper processing, in accordance with privacy legislation, we have entered into a processing agreement with Google. Within Google Analytics, we have had the IP addresses anonymised and data sharing with Google has been switched off. No other Google services are used in combination with Google Analytics cookies.
View, modify, or delete data
You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data and you have the right to data transfer. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data, which we have in our possession, in a computer file to you or another organisation you have indicated.

To ensure that you have made the request for inspection, we ask that you enclose a copy of your identification with the request. In this copy, make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Burgerservicenummer (BSN) illegible. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
